I had high hopes for my stay at Chalet Inn, especially with its picturesque views and charming location, but there were quite a few disappointments. The check-in experience was smooth, and I appreciated the friendly service I received, yet many aspects of the room fell short of my expectations. Overall, I would rate my stay a 4, as there were some great elements, but several glaring issues need addressing.

The room I stayed in was relatively clean but had old and worn furniture, including a wingback chair with a tear. The baseboard wasn't replaced, and the lamp shades were quite dated. While it was spacious and had a nice view, the lack of modern touches made it feel less inviting.

The check-in staff was fantastic-very helpful and provided great advice on local dining options, which I truly appreciated. However, the lack of on-site staff most of the time was a bit inconvenient.
